Описание

Aguasol Acril is a concentrated sealing varnish based on pure acrylic emulsion, designed to seal and protect stamped concrete in indoor and outdoor areas. It is particularly suitable for protecting exterior concrete paving and is also used to maintain all types of concrete paving over time.

Before use, dilute with at least 50% clean water. It forms a satin, slightly glossy film that does not yellow, is alkali-resistant, preserves the original texture of the paving, and reduces the formation of cracks. It dries quickly: touch-dry in about 30 minutes, and a subsequent coat can be applied after about 4 hours.

Apply to stamped concrete finished with Colorcem Impreso, after removing the release agent Desmoldeante P. As a water-based product, Aguasol Acril is not recommended for areas with vehicle traffic or car parks, as hot tires may soften or lift the film. For these areas, the manufacturer recommends solvent-based MS-83, which is significantly more resistant.

Product preparation

1. Shake the container before opening. After opening, stir the product by hand with a clean, dry wooden or rust-free metal stirrer.

2. Dilute with at least 50% clean water and stir until uniform. Do not use salty, chemically contaminated, cloudy or highly calcareous water, as it may alter the coating and cause staining.

New stamped concrete

3. Wait at least 72 hours after laying the paving.

4. Remove any Desmoldeante P residue (no more than 3% is permitted) and anything else that could impair adhesion: sweep the surface, scrub it with water and mild soap using a soft brush, then rinse with clean water at low pressure. High pressure may erode the wear layer.

5. Allow the concrete to dry for about 24 hours.

6. Apply evenly using a spray gun, brush or roller, taking care not to leave puddles. If spraying, follow up with a roller or brush to remove excess product and ensure it bonds to Colorcem Impreso.

7. For a perfect finish, apply two coats at least 48 hours apart.

Old surfaces and maintenance

8. Remove dust, grease, curing compound and anything else that could impair adhesion, using mechanical methods (sanding, wire brushing) and water. Allow the surface to dry, then apply the product as described above.

9. Depending on traffic and climate, apply a new coat every 2–3 years.

Storage

In the original sealed packaging, protected from the elements, direct sunlight and frost. Do not expose to temperatures above 30 °C. Shelf life: 6 months from the date of manufacture when stored correctly.

Precautions

Application temperature: +10 to +25 °C.
Do not apply if there is a risk of frost or rain, in strong winds, in direct sunlight or at high relative humidity.
In hot weather, do not apply to a surface that has been exposed to direct sunlight.
Do not apply in a very thick layer or leave puddles.
Avoid frequent use of de-icing salts, which can damage the concrete.
