Colorcem Cover is a single-component micro-mortar for the thin-layer surface renovation of stamped concrete floors and stamped mortar walls. It is mixed with water and Cover colorant and applied in two cross coats, forming a high-strength colored finish.

It is formulated with cement, fine aggregates, inorganic pigments and polymers that provide high adhesion. The coating follows the relief of the stamped surface without blurring the texture, covers small cracks and creates a natural appearance. No primer is required, and no construction work is needed.

Once fully dry, Colorcem Cover is sealed with Aguasol, Aguasol Plus, MS-83 or DS-90 methacrylate varnish.

Colorcem Cover is used to renovate and provide a decorative finish for hard surfaces:

  • Renovation of stamped concrete floors and stamped mortar walls
  • Decorative coating for old and new surfaces made of concrete, mortar, terrazzo, ceramic and other materials
  • Protective coatings with a natural appearance and color

Consumption

Coverage is approximately 1 kg/m² per 1 mm of thickness. The total thickness of the two coats is 1–2.5 mm. According to the manufacturer, one prepared batch of filler covers approximately 30 m² in two coats. Consumption depends on the substrate.

Packaging

Kit: 15 kg bag of Colorcem Cover and a sachet of Cover colorant in the selected color.

1. The surface must be completely clean, free of dust, grease, oils, paint or varnish residues, release agents, and loose material. Very smooth surfaces must be mechanically roughened (milled or blasted). Dampen with water, taking care not to leave puddles. No primer is required.

2. Measure out the water: 9–9.4 L per 15 kg bag (0.6–0.63 L per 1 kg). Start with less water and add more until the mixture is fluid, like paint. Use slightly less water on walls. Use clean tap water, not well water or very hard water.

3. Pour the Cover colorant sachet into the water and stir until the color is uniform.

4. Sprinkle Colorcem Cover into the mixture and mix with a drill at low speed for about two minutes, until homogeneous and lump-free.

5. Apply the first coat evenly in one direction using a new long-pile wool roller, taking care not to leave puddles.

6. After 2–4 hours (depending on the temperature), apply a second coat perpendicular to the first, ensuring full coverage.

7. Once the coating is completely dry (12–24 hours depending on the weather, according to the technical data sheet), apply a sealing varnish: Aguasol, Aguasol Plus, MS-83, or DS-90.

The product can also be applied with a trowel or spray gun. If the mixture thickens during application, stir it again without adding water.

In closed packaging, protected from the elements.

Precautions

  • Do not apply in freezing conditions or in windy weather.
  • Both coats are mandatory: the first acts as a bonding coat and ensures complete coverage.
  • Do not add extra water, as this reduces the final strength.
  • Use exactly the same quantities in each batch, and wash the container between batches to avoid color variations.
  • After sealing, wait at least 48 hours before allowing vehicle traffic.

Затова винаги поръчвай целия материал за един обект наведнъж и по възможност от една партида, така тонът е еднакъв по цялата площ.

За щампован бетон са нужни три неща: цветна посипка, отделител (за да не залепва щампата) и запечатващ лак накрая. Щампите се наемат или купуват отделно.
