Colorcem Impreso is a colored dry powder mortar for the wear-resistant layer of stamped concrete pavements. It is made from high-strength cements, pigments, selected aggregates, and high-purity additives.

The product is spread over fresh concrete, worked in with a trowel, and then stamped. This creates a decorative layer with high resistance to abrasion and pressure that protects the concrete. Textures resembling paving stones, natural stone, slate, wood, tiles, and more are possible.

Colorcem Impreso is used as part of a system with Desmoldeante P release agent, which is broadcast before stamping, and Aguasol Plus or DS-90 sealant, which is applied after the release agent has been cleaned off and the surface has dried.

Colorcem Impreso is used for decorative stamped concrete paving:

  • Pedestrian areas and accessways: parks and gardens, urban pedestrian zones, squares, sidewalks
  • Outdoor recreation areas: commercial and leisure centers
  • Parking areas
  • Residential areas: houses, residential complexes, recreation areas, around swimming pools

Consumption

Consumption is 3–5 kg/m²depending on the color chosen. One 25 kg bag covers about 5–8 m², averaging around 6 m².

Packaging

25 kg bag with a moisture-resistant polyethylene layer. 1000 kg pallet (40 bags).

1. After spreading and leveling the fresh concrete, approximately two-thirds of the specified amount of Colorcem Impreso is spread evenly. The entire area should be covered, with no piles or areas with too little material.

2. The color hardener is worked into the concrete with a steel trowel once the sheen of water has disappeared from the surface.

3. After 1 hour, the remaining amount is spread and the surface is troweled again.

4. Immediately afterward, Desmoldeante P release agent is broadcast so that the surface is well covered, and the operation is repeated.

5. The stamps are placed and pressed down evenly until the desired texture is achieved.

6. After a minimum of 48 hours, the Desmoldeante P release agent is removed by sweeping or with pressurized water.

7. Once the surface is dry and at least 48 hours have passed (more or less, depending on the climate), apply Aguasol Plus or DS-90 sealer.

Storage

In the original, unopened packaging, protected from the elements. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored correctly.

Precautions

  • Apply at temperatures between +5 and +35 °C. Do not apply if there is a risk of frost.
  • The time between application stages depends on the temperature and humidity.
  • The quality of the concrete has a significant impact on the final appearance of the surface.
  • Avoid excess water on the concrete surface. Do not add water after the product has been spread.
  • Wash tools with water immediately after use.
  • For normal, light traffic, maintenance of the sealing layer is recommended every two years.
  • For greater resistance to salt water, the manufacturer offers an R.A.S. version on request.

За щампован бетон са нужни три неща: цветна посипка, отделител (за да не залепва щампата) и запечатващ лак накрая. Щампите се наемат или купуват отделно.
